A la maison, on favorise l’usage de carafe et de dispositifs traitant l’eau du robinet pour éviter d’acheter des bouteilles d’eau minérale plastiques. Et dans le même élan, on remplace les gourdes/bouteilles plastique dans nos sacs, direction le bureau, la salle de sport, ou pour nos balades et weekends.Mais, comment choisir notre nouvel allié ?
Les plus répandues, les gourdes inox/métal/alu, souvent parées de motifs,
connues pour garder le chaud et le froid façon Thermos, elles semblent idéales. Jusque là tout va bien. Mais alors, pourquoi n’en trouve-t-on pas au LAB ? Pour 3 raisons !
– 100% de ces gourdes sont fabriquées en Chine, aucun fabricant en Europe.
(la marque peut bien être française, seul le design peut être fait en France si c’est le cas! Toujours faire attention à différencier « Designé/dessiné à » et « Made in/ fabriqué en » 😉 ). Et vous le savez, LE LAB Lyon, c’est une fabrication 100% européenne, ce qui nous amène à 2 raisons en même temps : 1/ les conditions de fabrication (au sens humaines) ont de grandes chances d’être très dures et mauvaises et 2/ si on souhaite vraiment penser écologie, alors on pense empreinte carbone, et la Chine, c’est franchement pas la porte à côté pour faire venir le produit jusqu’à vous !
– La matière : L’inox, ou acier inoxydable, est un alliage de fer, nickel (pouvant entrainer des allergies) mais aussi de chrome, un matériau dont la transformation s’avère polluante voire toxique à la santé. Rassurez-vous, c’est une faible quantité, ce n’est pas « dangereux » mais ce n’est tout de même pas idéal non plus !Bon bon bon, pas de panique !
Au LAB, on a mis longtemps à dégoter des gourdes qui soient efficaces, made in Europe et esthétiques ! Mais on l’a fait ! Elles sont en verre borocilicate (le verre est une matière naturelle : bon point). Ce verre qu’on appelle souvent Pyrex (connu pour la marque), résiste extrêmement bien aux chocs de température, passe au lave-vaisselle, est hypoallergénique, sans plomb, sans BPA, et il gardera aussi très bien votre boisson au chaud ou au frais !
Leur petit plus : elles sont canons ! Vendues avec une housse en simili cuir ou en feutre avec accroche, pour les protéger et transporter partout !

N°1 – le 25/01/2020 LE CUIR VEGAN, C’EST QUOI ?
Hello par ici !Un premier petit mot court et efficace pour vous parler un peu de « Cuir Vegan ».En effet, on commence à entendre cette appellation mais souvent on la comprend assez mal. Et oui, comment du cuir peut-il être vegan ? Drôle d’idée.En fait le terme est assez mal choisi (je trouve) puisque ce n’est tout simplement pas du cuir au sens « animal ».C’est parfois une association de fibres végétales et donc naturelles (eucalyptus, ananas, muskin…), parfois du plastique recyclé, qui imite le cuir !Une matière qui reste donc très belle, et selon les fibres et matériaux utilisés, peut même se patiner avec le temps, comme du vrai cuir.Ses avantages : ils sont souvent traités imperméables, sont légers et sont bien souvent moins couteux que le cuir !Au LAB, nous avons une sélection d’accessoires de ce type : montres, sac-à-dos, portefeuilles, pochettes, et nous devons avouer qu’ils sont canons et n’ont rien à envier au cuir véritable 😉
